OFFICIAL GIVEAWAY RULES

Ham Radio DX – 100,000 Subscriber Giveaway

1. Sponsor

The giveaway is sponsored and administered by Ham Radio DX, operated by Hayden VK7HH (“Sponsor”).
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube.

By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to release YouTube from any liability related to this giveaway.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to individuals 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • Physical prizes are limited to legal residents of Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada (excluding Quebec).
  • Digital prizes (if offered) may be available worldwide unless otherwise stated.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility before awarding any prize.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win.
A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

4. How to Enter

To enter the giveaway:

  1. You must be watching the giveaway livestream live on YouTube.
  2. When prompted during the livestream, enter the specific codeword announced for that prize into the live chat.

5. Winner Selection

  • Winners will be selected live during the livestream using StreamYard’s giveaway/comment picker tool.
  • Selection is random from eligible live chat entries that include the correct codeword.
  • StreamYard is not a sponsor of this giveaway and is used solely as a random selection tool.

Each eligible comment receives one entry into the draw per codeword.

6. Winner Notification and Claim

  • Winners will be announced live on the stream.
  • Winners must contact the Sponsor via the official email address in the description provided within 72 hours of being announced.
  • To claim a prize, winners must provide:
  • Proof of control of the YouTube account used to enter (as determined solely by the organiser). This may include, but is not limited to, a screenshot of the logged-in YouTube account.
  • Full and accurate shipping details (where applicable).
  • Failure to provide adequate verification or required information within 72 hours will result in forfeiture of the prize and a redraw at the organiser’s discretion.

If a winner:

  • Fails to respond within 72 hours,
  • Provides invalid, incorrect or incomplete information, or
  • Is unwilling to provide shipping details,

the prize will be forfeited and may be re-drawn at a later date.

7. Prizes

  • Major Prize: Icom IC-7300 MK2 (or equivalent if unavailable) ($RRP $1500 USD)
  • Additional prizes may be awarded and announced during the livestream.

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

The Sponsor covers standard shipping costs.
Any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, or local fees are the responsibility of the winner.

Some prizes may be restricted to specific countries (e.g. Australia-only items). Any such restrictions will be clearly announced during the livestream.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected from winners (such as name, email, and shipping address) will be used solely for prize fulfillment and giveaway administration.

Personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties except as necessary to ship prizes.

9. Compliance with Laws and Sanctions

This giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations, including export controls and sanctions regulations.
Prizes will not be shipped to jurisdictions prohibited under applicable trade or sanctions laws.

10. General Conditions

  • The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules or the YouTube Terms of Service.
  • The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the giveaway.
  • All decisions by the Sponsor are final.
